If you store your motorhome during off-season or winter storage, you will want to make sure that the policy you are looking at will allow you to reduce your insurance rates for storage or non-use periods.
There are many other particulars for motorhomes that are not part of the traditional car insurance policies and you will want to compare insurance rates with several sources in order to decide which policy covers the most and provides a cheap car insurance premium.
You may find that you will qualify for a discount if you add both your motorhome and your auto with the same company. Any discount that would normally lower your insurance rates may still apply for motorhome insurance.
Motorhome insurance is still available with the same coverage as regular car insurance; you can have liability, comprehensive, collision and uninsured motorists coverages.
